On November 16th, the Fourth China Recycled Paper Industry Conference 2019 was held at the Jinling Hotel in Chongqing.        Faced with the dramatic changes in procurement strategies of papermaking enterprises under the new normal of economic development, how to reduce costs and meet environmental standards in the growing Chinese recycling paper industry to meet good market opportunities has become a common issue that the entire industry needs to face.

      In this context, Chairman Ruan Zijian gave a speech on the theme of "How to achieve cost reduction and environmental protection standards through packaging technology innovation", interpreting the current national environmental policy from a macro perspective. He pointed out that according to the latest foreign waste import data, it is predicted that the waste paper shortage will be close to 20 million tons in 2020. Considering that the four listed paper companies may invest 2.5 million tons of overseas waste paper pulp production capacity next year, In 2020, there will also be a shortage of around 17.5 million tons of waste paper fiber supply. At the same time, with the increasingly strict environmental policies implemented by the government, many waste materials can no longer be landfilled and can only be used for incineration and power generation. Before incineration, the bundled iron wires need to be removed, which increases the cumbersome process. Whether it is the shortage of waste paper fibers or the tedious process of incineration for power generation, these will directly affect the operating costs of papermaking and recycling enterprises, as well as the national environmental assessment of enterprises.

       Ruan Zijian stated that from the perspective of professional packaging machine manufacturers, how to help paper and recycling enterprises reduce operating costs and meet environmental standards in the packaging process has been our long-term research topic.
